REGISTRATION OPENS OCTOBER 30, 2021!
Welcome to the 2022 Spring Season for Lancaster PONY Baseball League! Our Spring season includes weekday and Saturday games with some variation with the Foal division. There will also be a minimum of 12 scheduled games for Shetland - Pony divisions, and a minimum of 10 scheduled games for Foal division. Please note that Lancaster Pony Baseball League Officials and the Board of Directors reserve the right to make changes with or without notice. Lancaster Pony Baseball is not responsible for when/where the Manager/Coach chooses to hold practices, and participation at practices is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.
- Please note : Managers, Coaches, or Board Members cannot guarantee placement of any player on a specific team. (Excludes Foal Division)
- Please understand that due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, dates may change. If we are unable to start the season (before jerseys and hats are distributed) due to COVID 19, and are forced to cancel our Spring 2022 season, Lancaster Pony Baseball Board of Directors will issue a full refund, minus any transaction fees paid to Sports Connect, who run our website. If season is able to start and needs to be cancelled (due to COVID 19), after jerseys and hats have been distributed and/or games have been played (by any team, not necessarily by your child), Lancaster Pony Baseball Board of Directors will consider refund amounts, if any, to be distributed.
- If you wish to cancel your registration, you may do so up until teams are formed and /or drafted, and receive refund minus a $40 processing fee. Once teams are formed/drafted, NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN!!!
- Please note, refunds do not include any of the $3 transaction fees paid to Sports Connect.

A $3 Transaction fee is added to all online registration payments and installments of payment plans . This goes to Sports Connect, the operator of our website, and we have no control over this fee. This fee is charged to ALL transactions, whether paying by card or cash.

AGE RANGES BELOW REFLECT PLAYER AGE ON AUGUST 31, 2022
Whatever age your child is on August 31, 2022 is your child's "league age" for the 2022 Spring season.
- 4U: Foal Division (T-BALL) - $130.........Foal division is for players born within the birth date range from September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2019.
- 6U: Shetland Division - $150...................Shetland division is for players born within the birth date range from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2017.
- 8U; Pinto Division - $150..........................Pinto division is for players born within the birth date range from September 1, 2013 to August 31, 2015.
- 10U: Mustang Division - $180.................Mustang division is for players born within the birth date range from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2013.
- 12U: Bronco Division - $180.....................Bronco division is for players born within the birth date range from September 1, 2009 to August 31, 2011.
- 14U: Pony Division - $200........................Pony division is for players born within the birth date range from September 1, 2007 to August 31, 2009.
Please note we do not allow players to play below their age level. Nobody plays down as it creates a safety issue for the children playing in their age appropriate division. Age range for each division is listed below. Divisions are based on how old the player will be on August 31, 2022, which is their "league age" for Spring 2022 season.
Your registration fees cover jersey with number, hat, insurance, field rental fees, pictures, background checks on all of our volunteers, baseballs, chalk, umpire fees, trophy and medals for season and playoff tournament and required equipment which includes but is not limited to helmets and catchers gear. Also included in the fees are (4) raffle tickets, each worth $10, for our Raffle! Raffle will be broadcast live on Facebook, date TBD. Prizes are a Playstation 5 (or cash value), a 60 inch Television, and a Custom "44" Baseball Glove! Tickets will be distributed by team parents once teams have been formed. You can choose to keep tickets for yourself for a chance to win, or sell them to friends and/or family!
**NEW AGE VERIFICATION / SIBLING DISCOUNT POLICY**
For age and sibling verification purposes, you must provide a CERTIFIED COPY of your child's birth certificate, your marriage certificate and/or adoption or legal guardianship documentation to Lancaster Pony Baseball. This is needed to prove age of player, and guardianship status of person registering child.
Sibling discounts of $10 per additional child will be given after verification of birth certificates.
Players who have NOT played in any games with us previously will need to provide a birth certificate for their player. This year we are performing birth certificate verification via email. Send a copy of your child's (certified) birth certificate and a copy of the registering parent's (name on account at lancasterpony.com) driver license to
[email protected]. Include player name and division in subject of email. If player and parent last name do not match, please include any supporting documentation (example...adoption, custody paperwork or marriage certificate).
Child will not be placed on a team until age is verified.
**MANDATORY CONCUSSION AND SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST CERTIFICATION LINKS**
Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification is required for all Volunteers (Coaches, Team Parents, etc.) There is no cost to complete these courses. Completion certificates are valid for 2 years, so make sure your certificate is valid through June, 2022.

Once completed, please download completion certificates and email copies for each course to [email protected] Managers who have not completed courses and emailed copies of their certificates to Lancaster Pony Baseball will not be able to participate in team draft. (Foal managers will not receive their team roster until Lancaster Pony Baseball has copies of certificates).
**REQUIRED BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS**
Effective 2020, PONY Baseball is now requiring ALL volunteers (Managers, Coaches, Team Parent, etc.) to submit to a background check each calendar year.
All those who wish to be considered for a volunteer position with Lancaster Pony Baseball need to register as a volunteer after either logging in or creating an account at lancasterpony.com. Once you have selected which position you'd like to be considered for, you will be prompted to enter the required information to complete the background check.
**COACHES WANTED**
Our league is completely dependent on volunteers, and some of the most important volunteers are our Coaches. We are always in need of Managers (Head Coaches). If you would like to be considered for a position as Manager this season, please register when prompted during registration of your child. All people wishing to hold a volunteer position within Lancaster Pony Baseball must be approved by the board.
